ZolaBean, a new line of stylish, comfortable, eco-friendly dresses made from recycled water bottles and coffee grounds, recently launched a kickstarter campaign. The company promises that the dresses are soft, durable and designed for women who live incredibly busy lifestyles.
“I believe sustainable fashion can make a difference in our world. I also believe in practical dresses that you can wear everyday because life on the go is always busy,” said Cynthia Le, founder of ZolaBean. “I realized that despite a closet full of clothes, I only wear a few items frequently because they’re easy and comfortable. That’s why I created ZolaBean, a line of clothing with that level of comfort, but also so stylish, you will want to wear it everyday.”
Each ZolaBean dress is designed with travel-friendly features (including zipper pockets), enabling it to work beautifully during each moment of a woman’s dayThere are three styles of dresses: a wrap dress, Kelly dress and t-shirt dress. ZolaBean’s unique materials are wrinkle resistant and can be simply smoothed by hand or by being hung up.
Comprised of a four-way-stretch material, ZolaBean dresses combine a mix of recycled fabric and spandex to allow for a stretch that keeps one moving no matter what the day entails. Since the fabric is partly made from coffee grounds, it contains microscopic pores that reflect UV rays. This means the wearer’s skin is protected from the sun through a natural and chemical-free shield. The fabric is also lightweight and fast drying, moving moisture away from the skin three times faster than cotton.
ZolaBean is offered in three colors: red, navy and light blue.
