Silver & Riley announced a quarterly grant program through its “Buy 1, Give 5” offering, where 5% of quarterly sales are split between grants to early-stage, women-owned businesses domestically and funding for women in emerging economies to start their businesses.

Grants are a completely free cash injection, and the application process is straightforward, with no red tape. Grantees will be selected by a panel of advisors with criteria based on the brand story, business acumen and a passion for giving back and serving the community.

In response to recent protests, one black female founder will be awarded $1,000, and two black female founders will be awarded $500 each. Because of the limited availability of grant funding for businesses started less than two years ago, founder Lola Banjo opted to focus this round of grants on businesses that have been operating for less than two years.

The current round of submissions will be open until Friday, July 31, and winners will be notified on Monday, August 3.

More details including criteria and submission form can be found here.
