Gourmet grocer Brooklyn Harvest Market has signed a lease for 10,000 square feet of ground floor space at 781 Metropolitan Avenue in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The lease term is 20 years and the asking rent was $80 per square foot. The store is expected to open in mid-2020.
Garry Steinberg, executive managing director and principal, and Richard Kave, executive managing director of Lee & Associates NYC represented the tenant.
“Brooklyn Harvest Market brought specialty products to the market that were in high demand by the residents of this up-and-coming East Williamsburg neighborhood,” said Steinberg, who represented the tenant along with Kave. “Brooklynites have really begun to recognize the Brooklyn Harvest Market brand as being symbolic of the highest quality, the freshest products and the friendliest service. This new East Williamsburg location is perfectly situated to meet the needs of the constantly changing neighborhood.”
Property owner Adam America was represented by Hymie Dweck of Newmark Knight Frank. This will be the fourth store for the brand, which currently has two locations in Brooklyn and one in Astoria.
