New York’s Museum of Arts and Design hosts “MAD About Jewelry Virtual Trunk Shows,” every Thursday on Zoom. Jewelry enthusiasts and fashionistas will see a behind-the-scenes look at what artists are working on now; learn about their craftsmanship, processes and inspirations; and – best of all – you can shop the pieces you love! The designers will send them right to you, with proceeds directly benefiting the artists and the Museum’s educational programming.
MAD is proud to support and champion the jewelry artist community with annual exhibitions and sales including LOOT and RE:FINE. Especially now, when brick and mortar stores are closed, MAD has an obligation to help artists gain visibility and showcase their work.
- LOOT: MAD About Jewelry is MAD’s annual curated show and sale of jewelry by the world’s most innovative contemporary jewelers. The 20th Edition of LOOT is December 7 – 1. Every month until December, a small group of LOOT artists will be featured on MAD’s website.
- RE:FINE showcases the work of artists who are challenging the conventions of what fine jewelry means today by offering refreshing alternatives to the traditional world of fine jewelry.
