Along Long Island City’s crowded Jackson Avenue, a new condo building designed by ODA New York has now launched sales from $595,000. Known as Galerie, the project was first announced last August, and is located at 22-18 Jackson Avenue.

The 11-story building will bring a total of 182 apartments to the neighborhood. The condos here will come in a mix of studios through three-bedrooms and the interiors were designed by Paris Forino Interior Design.

Typical apartments here will have stained white oak flooring; Bosch stainless steel appliances in the kitchen along with Caesarstone countertops with an island waterfall and backsplash; and stone mosaic floor and marble-tiled walls in the master bath, among other swanky finishes. Each of the apartments will also have an in-unit washer/dryer, and will be pre-wired for Verizon Fios.

As for the amenities in this Adam America Real Estate and Vanke US-developed building, they include an indoor pool, a fitness center, a landscaped courtyard, a pet spa, a children’s playroom, and others, all spread out over 13,000 square feet of space.

Located across from MoMA PS1, the developers have billed this development as an “art gallery home,” and aside from having an art-packed lobby, the condo’s library will also house books from the museum.

Galerie is located right next to ODA New York’s rental development at 22-22 Jackson Avenue, and is just about visible in one of the many renderings released for the condo at 22-18 Jackson Avenue. The building will have a facade comprised of brick, concrete, and glass, and three different glazing styles: punched, curtain wall, and window wall. Construction is expected to wrap sometime in the middle of next year. Sales and marketing here are being handled by Halstead Property Development Marketing.
