Hartz Mountain Industries, a private family-owned and operated company known for its real estate holdings in major East Coast markets, today announced the launch of leasing at Hamilton Cove – a three-tower collection of 573 thoughtfully designed luxury rental residences along the premier Lincoln Harbor waterfront in Weehawken, NJ. Complemented by a vast suite of entertainment, fitness, work and leisure amenities, Hamilton Cove overlooks the impressive New York City skyline, steps from convenient ferry access.

“We designed Hamilton Cove to reflect and cater to the ultimate urban lifestyle,” said Gus Milano, president and COO of Hartz Mountain Industries. “The expansive layouts, paired with a robust selection of contemporary amenities, makes Hamilton Cove a sophisticated haven for residents. The amenities are a major draw, offering one of the largest and most diverse arrays of indoor and outdoor areas for recreation, relaxation, working, and entertaining.”

Hamilton Cove – located at 800 Harbor Boulevard – comprises three towers ranging from 12- to 15-stories high, all thoughtfully designed by local firm Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects as an homage to the surrounding neighborhood. The elegant and graciously proportioned interiors were imagined by award-winning global designer firm CetraRuddy.

Residences range in size from studios to three-bedrooms, some with private outdoor space. Each residence features modern-day finishes and materials including plank flooring throughout. The kitchens feature white Silestone Calacatta countertops and backsplashes, custom two-tone cabinetry, chrome Moen fixtures and integrated Whirlpool appliances. The sleek bathrooms include white Porcelanosa tile floors, white Silestone countertops with custom touches such as a custom glossy grey laminate vanity and oversized mirrored cabinets. Every apartment comes with built-out custom closets and a Whirlpool washer and dryer.

Hamilton Cove offers an unmatched lifestyle experience through its wide-ranging amenities totaling over 60,000 square feet, nearly a half of which are devoted to resort-like outdoor offerings including a rooftop with cabanas, two heated pools and a jacuzzi; a dual-sided outdoor fireplace with televisions on each side; grills and a bar; bocce ball court; outdoor movie screen and an indoor/outdoor residents lounge. Indoor amenities include a two-story, 7,590-square-foot fitness and wellness center outfitted with self-program lockers and high-end equipment from Life Fitness and Fitness On Demand, as well as closed off multi-purpose spaces dedicated to yoga and meditation. The building also features a coworking lounge with comfortable, built-in seating and desks; a spacious, Safari-themed children’s playroom; a double-height sports simulation room including virtual golf and baseball; an indoor movie theater; a game room with shuffleboard; an additional resident’s lounge with a catering kitchen and soundproof design; concierge; and abundant onsite parking.

“As one of the only brand new, amenity-rich buildings in the neighborhood, Hamilton Cove is a truly a rare and remarkable residential experience,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of The Marketing Directors, the exclusive marketing and leasing agent on the project. “This resonates with renters looking for an inspired, waterfront retreat away from the bustle of the city, yet a short and simple commute away from Manhattan, Hoboken and more.”

Lincoln Harbor is a quiet enclave set on 60 acres in Weehawken, directly across the river from Midtown Manhattan. Hartz Mountain Industries is at the forefront of transforming this area into a highly desirable residential community, which features several outstanding restaurants including Chart House, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Blu Alehouse, which is opening this summer. A recently opened Whole Foods, as well as public green spaces and waterfront esplanades round out the neighborhood. It is easily accessible via several modes of public transportation including ferry service, which stops directly at Hamilton Cove and is a quick six-minute ride to Manhattan’s 39th Street. Lincoln Harbor also features its own station on The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Transit System that connects the Hudson River Waterfront through Jersey City and Hoboken, ending in North Bergen, with connections to the PATH in Hoboken and Jersey City.
