Corcoran Group LLC has expanded its footprint on both the East and West Coasts, launching affiliate Corcoran Country living in New York’s Hudson Valley and adding Temecula, California-based Impact Real Estate to the Corcoran Global Living operation.
Corcoran Country Living, established by the acquisition of the firm formerly known as Paula Redmond Real Estate by longtime Corcoran agents Jason Karadus and Marie-Claire Gladstone, specializes in locations across the Hudson Valley, including Dutchess, Columbia, and Ulster counties.
“We are truly ecstatic to be adding to the Corcoran family here in our home state of New York,” said Corcoran President and CEO Pamela Liebman. “The Hudson Valley is a region we’ve had our eye on for quite some time now, so to have some terrific agents joining us who are already very well-versed in the area, and to have the opportunity for our New York City and East End agents to expand their referral business is a win-win.”
The creation of Corcoran Country Living expands the firm into what is a top second-home market for many. Paula Redmond Real Estate owner Paula Redmond will remain with Corcoran Country Living as an associate broker, and will assist in continuing the close-knit and collaborative culture within Corcoran Country Living as she has done with her existing brokerage for more than 17 years.
Corcoran Global Living now combines three independent brokerages: Zephyr Real Estate, which serves San Francisco; Oliver Luxury Real Estate, serving both the Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nevada markets and Impact, serving the greater Temecula, California area and surrounding counties in Southern California. Corcoran Global Living now includes more than 500 real estate agents across 15 offices, with annual combined sales of more than $3.2 billion.
“We couldn’t be more excited for our Corcoran Global Living family to further strengthen their significant work on the West Coast by welcoming Impact into the fold,” Liebman continued. “Corcoran Global Living’s expansion and new alliance is not only a significant next step in their growth, but also undoubtedly nurtures the network of our wider Corcoran family, giving all of our agents that much more expertise to tap into, regions to conduct business, and an ever-present entrepreneurial spirit. Furthermore, Impact’s existing focus on supporting its local communities through charitable acts and initiatives is so perfectly aligned with the culture that we’re constantly cultivating at Corcoran with our charitable arm, Corcoran Cares.”
With Temecula/Riverside County being one of the most rapidly growing areas, and Menifee specifically recognized as the sixth fastest growing in all of Southern California, this venture further solidifies Corcoran Global Living’s dedication to and significant growth in the region, Corcoran said. Impact Real Estate, as part of Corcoran Global Living, will now have access to resources, networking, and wider recognition within the Corcoran brand. Impact’s owner, Josh Painter, who also worked within his firm as a broker, will now serve as a partner with Corcoran Global Living.
