TFLiving, the nation’s premier tech-enabled amenities provider for residential and commercial properties, announced it has completed its acquisition of dog walking and pet-care service Baroo.
The addition of Baroo’s experience and technology allows TFLiving to expand their suite of onsite amenity offerings to its partner properties, and their residents and tenants. Through its unique platform and mobile app, users are able to connect with a large network of vetted professionals offering a diverse menu of services such as fitness classes, private yoga, personal training, massage therapy, dog walking, and event planning.
“TFLiving’s mission has always been to provide real estate owners and property managers with an efficient and optimized way to enhance their properties through a diverse suite of amenity offerings. By using our tech-enabled platform, we connect properties with our own vetted providers who activate amenity and offer that convenience that residents and tenants want,” said TFLiving Founder and CEO Devin Wirt. “This acquisition will allow us to expand the already wide range of amenity services available on our platform and enhance not only the lives of residents and tenants, but also their beloved pets.”
Baroo was operating in over 300 communities nationally, servicing apartment buildings, office properties, condominium developments and other properties across the Eastern U.S.
TFLiving has already launched dog walking services at residential and commercial properties in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Florida, and Washington, D.C. This acquisition will allow TFLiving to offer pet-care services to all U.S. markets in the coming months.
“Nearly 70 percent of American households today have a pet. Having three dogs myself, I know first-hand that owners regard their animals not just as companions, but as members of their family,” said Wirt. “Whether they live in an apartment, condominium, active adult community, or any other setting, our one-stop platform will offer peace of mind to owners knowing that their pets are getting the care they need during the day.”
