Fisher Brothers, Witkoff and New Valley, developers of the iconic residential tower 111 Murray Street known for its towering glass façade and unique, robust amenities package, announced the opening of the first ever, residents-only Drybar. Drybar, the nation’s leading salon group popularly devoted to the hair-styling service known as “blowouts,” will now have on-site stylists allowing 111 Murray Street residents to conveniently schedule appointments in the residents-only space with a quick call to the concierge.
“From the beginning, we wanted 111 Murray Street residents to feel like they could have every modern convenience at their fingertips,” said Lauren Witkoff, executive vice president of Witkoff. “Drybar serves as an extension of our unrivaled amenities package, and is a coveted brand our residents know and trust. We see it as another tool in the toolbox of delivering the ultimate luxurious residential experience.”
Designed by Drybar’s award-winning architect Josh Heitler, the two-chair shop within the 64-story tower features all of Drybar’s signature, custom design elements within the David Rockwell-designed Club Floor. Residents will enjoy their treatments from custom Italian chairs surrounded by tufted fabric walls, marble bars with built-in iPhone charging stations, and flat screens featuring popular movies and television shows.Through the Drybar partnership – the first ever in the United States within a private, residential building – 111 Murray Street residents can utilize the Drybar website or call the building’s concierge to schedule an appointment for blowouts, up-dos and/or hydrating treatments.
“It’s very exciting that we are able to offer exclusive Drybar services as an amenity to the residents of 111 Murray,” said John Heffner, Drybar CEO. “Both brands are committed to providing an exceptional experience for their clients, and we are looking forward to creating a signature, luxury atmosphere, and top-notch blowouts for every client that we serve.”
The Drybar salon is just one aspect of 111 Murray Street’s comprehensive Rockwell amenities package, which offers more than 20,000 square feet of relaxation and entertainment spaces including a Turkish hammam, private dining room and demonstration kitchen, patisserie, 75-foot lap pool, children’s splash pool with interactive splash pad water jets, spa with private treatment rooms, saunas, a fitness center with movement studio, teen arcade, children’s playroom, media room and a private aircraft concierge service.
“The official opening of Drybar solidifies 111 Murray Street as next level, residential real estate – home to every modern amenity that defines what it means to live the ultimate downtown New York lifestyle,” says Winston Fisher, a partner with Fisher Brothers.
