More than 425 supporters celebrated the 20th Annual Spring Luncheon on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Cipriani 42nd Street. Hosted by Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), the Luncheon raised more than $520,000. All proceeds from the Luncheon benefit FARE, a national nonprofit organization with the mission of improving the quality of life and the health of individuals with food allergies, and providing them hope through the promise of new treatments.
Sarah Kugelman and Jamie Malkin were honored for their leadership and advocacy on behalf of children with life-threatening food allergies. Luca Padovan, TV Actor and Broadway Performer, who is personally affected by food allergies, was the MC. As announced by Kim Hartman, co-chair of FARE’s Board of Governors, $53 million has been committed toward the Contains: Courage campaign in support of FARE’s life-changing research, education and advocacy initiatives.
