Yanghee, CEO of Rael, previously was an executive at Walt Disney Studios, with a focus on distribution and sales. With a dream of bringing Korean culture to the U.S., she was educated on the harsh ingredients the U.S. offers in feminine care and started comparing it to Korean-made products. Yanghee wanted to positively impact women’s lives and after researching the $4 billion feminine wellness industry, she brought the “better for you, better for the environment” campaign through Rael.

With an emphasis on a preventative and holistic philosophy, Korean skincare (K-beauty) introduces unique ingredients such as Mugwort Extract, Tea Tree Extract and Minerice Enzyme Complex. Moving away from the conventional U.S. ingredients emphasizes achieving a natural glow, allowing one to embrace their natural beauty. “As Korean skincare continues to captivate the U.S. market, its impact extends beyond the surface – it’s a cultural shift towards embracing a mindful, holistic and personalized approach to skincare that celebrates individual beauty,” Rael’s team said.

Rael’s mission to break free from social norms around women’s health defined their narrative. Rather than treating an integral part of women’s health as a taboo, they are focusing on their overall health. After their initial launch, Rael then expanded to skincare, cramp care and more.

Their cotton cover pad became a best seller on Amazon and sits at number one today. The Korean manufacturing captures both comfort and performance. The waterproof, protective patch uses a medical-grade hydrocolloid to extract impurities.
