Houlihan-Parnes Realtors LLC division GHP Office Realty LLC has renewed leases with several companies in its downtown buildings on Huguenot Street in New Rochelle, New York. The New York State Department of Health just signed a 10-year renewal on nearly 19,000 square feet of space at 145 Huguenot Street, continuing a 15-year presence at the building.
New transactions include a 10-year lease with logistics and distribution services provider We Ship Express Inc., for a 28,000-square-foot warehouse space at 145 Huguenot. Jamie Schwartz, executive vice president of GHP, represented the owner and Eric Goldschmidt, principal of Goldschmidt & Associates Commercial Real Estate Group, represented We Ship Express Inc. Durante Rentals LLC signed a new five-year lease earlier this year for over 5,000 square feet at the same building. This space has become the corporate office for their tri-state area operations for the construction equipment and tool rentals.
Similarly, across the street at 140 Huguenot, Gugliotta & Ponzini P.C., expanded and renewed its law office for another five-year term this spring.
GHP relocated numerous tenants out of Manhattan and into its New Rochelle property during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Tenants including Pan American Leathers, Inc., GA Global Markets LLC and Astra International have signed new leases at 145 Huguenot Street this summer.
145 Huguenot Street has a warehouse component with 23-foot clear ceilings with four exclusive loading docks as well as serving as a Class-A, 300,000 square foot building in downtown New Rochelle. 140 Huguenot Street is a 64,000-square-foot, three-story office building across the street from 145 Huguenot, which is also owned and operated by GHP Office.
