Workspace innovation firm The Instant Group, which places more than 8,000 companies a year worldwide in flexible workspaces, has named Steven Rothman vice president, financial services lead. Rothman comes to the firm with more than 30 years of experience and will work with financial services and insurance firms across the Americas to develop and expand their agile and flexible workspace strategies and programs.
“Steve’s impressive career demonstrates his leadership in corporate real estate management, finance, strategic real estate analysis and asset management,” said Joe Brady, CEO Americas, The Instant Group. “His proven track record will be an asset to Instant as we guide clients on major shifts in their portfolios as companies get back to office environments, many of which will be different, this year.”
Most recently, Rothman spent seven years at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was senior vice president, national director, working with firms such as HSBC, JP Morgan, Chase and Willis Towers Watson. For eight years before that, he was at Morgan Stanley, where he was executive director, global corporate real estate. He’s also held positions at Johnson Controls (formerly United Systems Integrators), Prudential Financial, GVA Williams Real Estate Company (now Colliers International) and JP Morgan Chase. He received his MBA, finance, from Pace University and Bachelor’s degree from the College of New Jersey.
