Shortly after opening in Orlando, Florida, Kara Sushi has signed for its first location in the Tampa Market, at 214 Westshore Plaza. The tech-based eatery signed for 2,734 square feet for 10 years, said Ripco Real Estate, which represented the tenant.

The restaurant will bring Japanese culture and tradition to guests through a stimulating technology forward dining experience with authentic dishes made with premium ingredients served via a double-layered conveyor belt system.

“We were excited to work with Kura Sushi to find an ideal space to expand its brand. The company has been working to continue to grow its presence both in Florida and nationally. This location will allow Kura Sushi to attract many new customers and expand the brand throughout the Tampa area,” said Alison Horbach, vice president at RIPCO Real Estate, who represented the restaurant.

Westshore Plaza is a shopping center with a mix of shopping, dining and entertainment. The property is easily accessible from West Kennedy Boulevard and I-275.
