Charlie West Celebrates First Look Inside Building With Tacos, Tequila & Live Mariachi

Elan Chen, Andreas Escobar, Shlomi Reuvenati, Alex Pollier and David Williams attend the Charlie West event

Charlie West, Hell’s Kitchen’s newest condominium, gathered a crowd of designers, brokers, and industry professionals to celebrate a first look at the building’s lobby. Guests enjoyed a pre-Cinco de Mayo celebration of tacos, custom tequila cocktails, and a live Mariachi band.

Notable guests include the projects design team, Eran Chen of ODA Architects and Andres Escobar of Lemay & Escobar, as well as Shlomi Reuveni, CEO of Reuveni Real Estate.

Located in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen, Charlie West offers 121 condominium residences which range in size from studios to four-bedroom homes, as well as magnificent penthouses. Many of the homes offer substantial terraces and balconies with commanding skyline views.

The property also boasts over 6,000 square feet of coveted hotel-style amenities in dramatic double-height spaces including an industrial-chic lobby that also serves as a curated library and private resident lounge with fireplace. An indoor/outdoor pool and fully equipped fitness center open to respective outdoor terraces and the building’s landscaped central courtyard. Additional amenities include a roof deck, children’s playroom and translucent glass-enclosed “bike box” that reimagines typical bike storage as an innovative architectural centerpiece.

Residence interiors feature design that fuses natural materials, opulent textures, high ceilings and gracious layouts. Interiors offer floor-to-ceiling windows, 5” wide oak plank flooring, Bosch washers and ventless dryers. Sleek kitchens are custom-designed by Scavolini with wood and lacquer cabinetry and Calacatta Absolute honed Quartz islands, countertops and backsplashes.

The striking, 16-story property, is co-developed by Elad US Holding and Mi & Co Development, with exterior design by critically-acclaimed Eran Chen of ODA Architects and interiors by the renowned Andres Escobar. As the only new, ground-up condominium in Hell’s Kitchen, the contemporary project is comprised of two towers connected by a gracious central courtyard. First closings are projected for Summer 2019.
