This spring, North America’s livestream shopping platform Ntwrk will partner with Surface Magazine to create a two-day virtual design fair that allows artists and designers to connect with consumers like never before. Through this partnership, Surface will curate a lineup of creators to sell luxury products on Ntwrk’s platform through live shoppable video content, where consumers will be able to watch, chat and shop from the convenience of their mobile devices. Surface Festival will be hosted by Surface senior creative editor Nate Storey and take place on the Ntwrk app on April 25 and 26.
“Surface is the media leader in luxury design, architecture and home, so we are excited to partner with their team and creator community to bring Surface Festival to life as a live streaming, content infused digital shopping experience,” said Colby Black, Ntwrk’s chief merchandising officer.
With Surface Festival, Ntwrk dives deeper into the global design and furniture space, leveraging three decades of the publication’s expertise around art, contemporary culture, design, fashion and travel.
“Magazines have forever been a channel for discovering emerging brands and cutting-edge products,” said Marc Lotenberg, CEO of Surface Media. “This past year, Surface launched a shoppable platform, Design Dose, to merge the two worlds and offer our audience a highly edited selection of products. Today, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Ntwrk, which is paving the way for livestream retail in the United States. With Ntwrk’s technology, we’ll take the customer journey to a new frontier by bringing our audience into the studios of the world’s leading designers and connecting them with the creators behind their favorite products and brands.”
