The area might be quieter than in years past, but retail leasing at Rockefeller Center continues with a number of holiday pop-ups.

“Since the early 1930s, New Yorkers have made a trip to visit the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree an annual tradition. While this holiday season certainly feels different, the holiday spirit continues at Rockefeller Center,” said E.B. Kelly, Tishman Speyer managing director, who oversees Rockefeller Center. “In addition to the most famous Christmas tree and ice-skating rink in the world, Rockefeller Center offers several new holiday pop-ups, new restaurants and recently launched retail locations that are sure to bring the holiday cheer to New Yorkers staying in the City this year. No destination in the world does the holidays quite like Rockefeller Center.”

New additions include: Westerlind, offering Scandinavian apparel at  620 Fifth Avenue; Côte à Coast, a New York-based men’s lifestyle brand with a modern resort point of view, offers high-quality clothing and home goods designed and produced in New York by skilled and socially responsible manufacturers, also at 620 Fifth Avenue and MP at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, an homage to the great Italian specialty stores chef and owner Missy Robbins and business partner Sean Feeney, offering specialty items to grab and quickly cook at home from marinated vegetables and top-of-the-line pantry staples to pecorino crusted chicken cutlets and fresh pasta and sauces. They join previously announced shops from Jill Lindsey and Steven Alan, part of the new RC Capsule retail initiative.

New food and beverage options are: Joey Bats Café, a grab-and-go café  from Chef Joey Batista, featuring authentic Portuguese dishes; Frenchette, a holiday food truck from chef-owners Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson, serving sweet and savory crepes and hot chocolate and City Winery, a rink-side café adjacent to The Rink at Rockefeller Center where guests can enjoy hot cocoa and festive snacks.
