B6 Real Estate Advisors has appointed Brock Emmetsberger as a senior managing director. An industry veteran responsible for in excess of more than $1.7 billion of commercial real estate transactions sold throughout his 17-year career, Emmetsberger will oversee investment sales for the firm’s Chelsea and Greenwich Village territories, and work closely with owners and brokers to successfully close transactions throughout New York City.
He most recently served as managing director in JLL’s Capital Markets Group, where he focused on investment sales in downtown Manhattan. Prior to JLL, Mr. Emmetsberger was first vice president of sales at Massey Knakal Realty Services, which was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield in 2014.

Emmetsberger’s most notable recent transactions in 2020 include the sale of Elizabeth Stribling’s office at 340 West 23rd Street for $7.55 million and 56 West 22nd Street for $48.5 million. Additionally, he was responsible for four of the 11 properties sold in the Chelsea neighborhood, among other sales he completed in New York City
He graduated from Miami University’s Richard T. Farmer School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in business, majoring in finance. He has been involved in a multitude of organizations including YM/WREA, presidents of both the Massey Knakal Charitable Foundation (MKCF) and KDA Legacy Foundation, Real Estate Board of New York and Small Property Owners of New York.
