Starbucks to Open at Broadway Shopping Center in Astoria

Muss Development LLC announced that Starbucks has signed a 1,760-square-foot, long-term lease for the high-visibility end-cap space at the Broadway Shopping Center, located at 21-01 Broadway in Astoria, Queens. The new Starbucks location is expected to open to customers this fall.

Muss Development was represented internally by Senior Vice President of Leasing Bill Bergman. Starbucks was represented by Doug Weinstein of Ripco Real Estate LLC.

Broadway Shopping Center acts as a hub within the densely populated area of Queens. Anchored by a supermarket and several additional retail stores, the center is also home to the famous Bel-Aire Diner, open 24/7 and known for its distinctive retro facade. Notable tenants include City Fresh Market, Rite-Aid, Chase Bank and USPS.

Broadway Shopping Center is on a main thoroughfare running through Astoria and Ditmars to the Queens Midtown Tunnel entrance in Hunters Point. It is a short distance to the 59th Street/Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge into Manhattan.
