William Macklowe Company and Senlac Ridge Partners — joint developers of a site at 120 Fifth Ave. in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York, soon to be developed as a major residential and retail complex — have signed CVS to operate a pharmacy, joining Lidl, at the development. CVS will occupy the ground floor and lower level of one of the two mixed-use buildings planned for the site. Lidl will anchor the retail component of the other building.
The Ripco Real Estate team consisting of Jason Pennington, Alex Beard and Ben Weiner is the exclusive leasing and marketing team for the developer and represented them in this transaction. Jason Pruger, Harrison Abramowitz and Ross Kaplan of Newmark represented CVS in the transaction. Ken Schuckman of Schuckman Real Estate represented Lidl in the transaction.
“A top priority of local civic leaders has been to bring community‐oriented retail to the planned development,” said Billy Macklowe, CEO of William Macklowe Company. “We are thrilled to partner with CVS and Lidl to bring the community both a supermarket and a pharmacy that can offer quality care and daily necessities at an affordable and accessible price.”
The 180‐unit residential rental development will include 45 affordable housing units and approximately 67,000 square feet of retail/commercial space as well as a parking garage.
