Pet-friendly café Boris & Horton has signed a lease for approximately 2,600 square feet at 510 Driggs Ave. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The asking rent was $165 per square foot. Verada’s Nathaniel Mallon and Brendan Thrapp represented the landlord, Northlink Capital, in the deal and Compass’ Steven Clair represented the tenant.

The space will be used to house Boris & Horton, a fun community space and dog-friendly cafe. They host adoption events, parties and more while serving a full menu including locally roasted coffee, food and alcohol.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Boris & Horton to the retail space at 510 Driggs. There is a huge need for pet-friendly businesses given the explosion of pet ownership over the past few years,” said Brendan Thrapp, “B&H is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this trend; their concept and community-first approach makes them a perfect fit for the development and neighborhood.”

While Boris & Horton was created as a site for New Yorkers to enjoy an amazing café and community space alongside their four-legged friends, it has evolved into a cultural beacon. Boris & Horton has been featured on Netflix, HBO and Hulu and boasts an impressive social media presence. In addition to being a great place to eat, drink and create content with your furry friend, Boris & Horton has also raised thousands of dollars for local animal rescues including Muddy Paws Rescue, Hearts & Bones Rescue & More.

The Brooklyn location will become the flagship and second retail location for Boris & Horton, NYC’s first dog-friendly cafe.
