Kaufman Organization announced that Knot Standard, a men’s apparel company that focuses on custom menswear including suits, blazers and pants, has signed a 5,418-square-foot lease at 19 West 24th St. The menswear tenant will occupy the entire second floor of the 12-story property.
“19 West 24th St. is a highly desirable building due to its transit-oriented location in Flatiron and the creative environment it brings to tenants. The renovations, lobby artwork and mix of tenant types has created a welcoming and innovative office space for e-commerce companies,” said Michael Heaner, partner at Kaufman. “For Knot Standard, this location offered the ideal space for both general offices and showroom space. The menswear company has been in the building for six years and decided to renew its office space at market rent.”
Heaner and Grant Greenspan of Kaufman Organization represented the landlord, Kaufman Organization. Jonathan Wasserstrum of The Square Foot represented the tenant in this transaction. Asking rent was $70 per square foot.
