WiredScore, the organization behind the WiredScore and SmartScore certifications, has announced 10 new leadership appointments, including Kyle Siegel as the head of national business development and Eric Larsen as the head of WiredScore’s Accredited Professionals Program across North America. The hires come amid a period of significant growth for the firm following its successful $15 million Series B fundraise, expansion into APAC and The Middle East and the launch of its North American Accredited Professionals Program with players CBRE, JLL and Savills.
“Siegel and Larsen will play tremendously integral roles in expanding WiredScore’s national footprint, in tandem with deepening our key involvement within the real estate and technology verticals,” said Katie Klein, country director for North America at WiredScore. “These appointments, in addition to several other hires across North America, are a true testament to WiredScore’s accelerated growth and a continued need for best-in-class digital connectivity.”
Siegel will oversee the day-to-day operations of WiredScore’s business development team and work closely with regional leadership to accelerate the firm’s presence in target markets. He joins WiredScore from NavigatorCRE, where he held a position as senior director of business development, supporting the sales growth of the company’s data visualization platform for commercial real estate. Prior to NavigatorCRE, Siegel also served as director of business development for ParkHub.
Larsen joins WiredScore from Intelligent Buildings LLC, where he served as director of client services. In this role, he assisted commercial real estate owners, investors and developers through programmatic support of selection, procurement, installation as well as management of tech, which worked to reduce all operational and capital expenses, simultaneously improving cooperation and data sharing. Prior to Intelligent Buildings, Larsen spent four years at Schneider Electric, most recently as account manager.
Larsen will work to reinforce the existing foundation for WiredScore’s AP Program, which launched in North America earlier this year.
In addition to Siegel and Larsen, WiredScore has also appointed five additional team members to its business development division: Dominic Schiavo as head of California markets, Sam Protzman as head of Northeast markets), Bennett Gibson as head of Southeast markets), Ricky Gonzalez as head of Midwest markets) and Preston Meyer as head of South markets.
Other appointments spread across various teams and focuses were Anthony Liota, senior solutions engineer; Rebecca Reel, smart building category lead) and Paul Custodio, building technology engineer.
