Vivvi Childcare and Learning Center to Open at 254 East 68th St.

Rudin announced that childcare and early learning provider Vivvi will open a new campus at the base of its 32-story residential building at 254 East 68th St.

Vivvi will occupy 6,919 square feet on the ground and lower levels of the building as part of a 15-year lease. The Vivvi space has three sides with natural light and will have a dedicated entrance with a 1285 Second Ave. address.

Vivvi provides childcare and early education for ages six weeks to five years. Its campuses prioritize flexibility for the modern family by providing extended hours and year-round schedules, in addition to offering direct and employee-sponsored options. Vivvi campuses are designed to foster children’s curiosity and encourage play and exploration that supports an inquiry-based curriculum. Each center includes learning spaces that are bright, vibrant, open and feature thoughtful details like a designated “wiggle room” for physical activity.

This will be Vivvi’s first Upper East Side location and its sixth in New York City when it opens in the spring of 2023. Vivvi plans to continue to expand in the New York metro area as well as into the Washington D.C. and Boston markets.

Kevin Daly, vice president at Rudin Management Company, represented building ownership in the transaction. Vivvi was represented in-house by Mattes and a team from CBRE comprised of Jordan Kaplan, Jared London and Eric Gelber.
