Toku, which offers modern Asian cuisine with a twist, will open its first location outside New York at Aventura Mall in North Miami.
It joins more than 50 restaurants and eateries at the upscale center, including Motek (which means “sweetheart” in Hebrew, a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant with dishes including shakshuka, falafel, and a Lebanese burger and Serafina Miami, the Southern outpost of a New York favorite.
At the center’s Treats Food Hall, Motek has opened Yalla Motek, a counter service, kosher-style dining destination, offering authentic hummus, pita sandwiches, shawarma, falafel and salads. Also new at the food hall is Tacology Express, serving authentic Mexican mercado-styled dining with tacos, ceviches, tostadas, desserts, salads and three exclusive menu items only available in their Aventura Mall location.
