Premier Welcomes First General Counsel

Architecture, design, procurement and project management and development firm Premier has named Nick Brooks has joined the team as the firm’s first general counsel. With over 10 years of experience split between a law firm and being in house, Brooks will deliver tailored legal insight to support the growing firm and its architecture, design, procurement, construction and business development teams.

In his new role, Brooks will provide specific legal insight and advice with a thorough understanding of Premier’s unique structure and long-term goals. He will review all legal risks associated with the business and take the appropriate steps to manage those risks while also optimizing profitability. Brooks will help cultivate sustainable growth that allows the firm to expand its market reach and explore new business ventures without undue or unknown risks in each of those new opportunities.

Before joining Premier, Brooks served as senior counsel at The Beck Group, where he served as an advisor to its general contracting, interior design and architecture teams. He was responsible for managing litigation and claims, negotiating contracts, and assisting other departments with various legal needs. He also serves on the City of Dallas Board of Adjustment and the board of trustees for Preservation Dallas, and is a 2023 graduate of Leadership Dallas, the leadership development program in the Dallas Region organized by the Dallas Regional Chamber.
