Jamaica Hospital/Medisys Health Network has acquired 143-02 Jamaica Avenue in Queens, New York from Top Rock Holdings for $10.5 million, announced Ripco Real Estate, which handled the sale. The 20,865-square-foot building, which includes a usable basement space, will be used as a medical facility.
The Ripco team of Michelle Abramov, Greg Batista, Stephen R. Preuss, Kevin Schmitz and others collaborated to execute the sale.
“We have been seeing a demand in the market from medical businesses looking to purchase their own buildings.,” said Abramov, a managing director. “This sale offered the buyer with a Class A boutique office building to continue expanding their business throughout Queens. 143-02 Jamaica Avenue will serve as Medisys Health Network’s fourth location on Jamaica Avenue.”
