As part of a plan to expand its public sector portfolio, construction giant Suffolk has named Aeran Doron as vice president of operations for the New York region.
For more than 20 years, Doron has led teams in the successful delivery of high-profile, sophisticated projects including the Fulton Center, Brooklyn Bridge Esplanade, World Trade Center 9A Underpass and East/West Connector and the Staten Island 9/11 Postcards Memorial Restoration.
“Over the past two decades, Aeran has built an impressive resume that includes some of the most impactful and significant public projects that have impacted the New York community,” said Ralph Esposito, president of Suffolk’s Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. “His longstanding relationships, unparalleled knowledge, tech-savvy approach to construction and proven ability to successfully navigate some of the most complex projects in the country will allow us to further penetrate the public sector market and continue to position Suffolk as the preferred building contractor in New York.”
Prior to joining Suffolk, Doron spent nearly eight years at Hunter Roberts Construction Group, and 10 years at Skanska USA Civil.
