Frontdoor, a national provider of home service plans, announced that Frontdoor Prime and Premium members can now enjoy unlimited live video chats with Frontdoor Experts for their home repair and maintenance needs.
Video chats were previously limited to three per 12-month contract period, but feedback from some members showed that they were concerned they would run out of video chats and were holding back until they had a “serious problem.”
“We don’t want our members to worry about that. We just want them to be confident they can call on our Experts whenever they need a repair or if they just have a question,” said Bill Cobb, Frontdoor chairman and CEO. “With unlimited video chats, our Experts can help address an array of repair or maintenance needs in your home. Sometimes they’ll be able to help you fix it during the video chat, and that one session alone could easily save you the cost of having someone come to your house.”
Frontdoor Prime members get real-time access to trusted experts including unlimited video chat sessions with experts in heating and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, appliances and a general handyman category; exclusive discounts of up to 50% off retail pricing for heating and AC system replacements with financing options available and discounts and special pricing for home products and services that can be booked at any time;
“Our Premium offering is for the homeowner that wants it all — coverage for repairs, real-time advice, maintenance services and exclusive discounts,” Cobb said. “For a limited time only, homeowners can become a Premium member for just $29 per month for a 12-month agreement.”
Premium members get everything in Prime, plus coverage for appliances, electrical and plumbing; the option to add coverage for HVAC at just $10 per month, roof leak repairs and pool and built-in spa equipment; a flat service fee ($100) for covered appliance, electrical and plumbing repairs; maintenance service options like carpet cleaning, HVAC tune-ups and more for a flat service fee of $100 and more.
Not all benefits are available in all areas.
