“The addition of Rone to the RMA family marks our seventh acquisition of 2023, which has been a monumental year of growth,” said Ed Lyon, CEO of RMA. “Rone operates offices in the critical Texas Triangle that is poised to receive over $17 billion in Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act funding over the next five years.”
Founded in 1972, Rone has provided professional services on major Texas engineering projects, ensuring the quality, stability and longevity of the region’s infrastructure. Led by Richard Leigh, Rone provides highly technical and practical solutions for public and private clients with a focus on transportation, public buildings, industrial, commercial and residential projects. It has offices and laboratories across four locations in Texas (Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and Houston) and one location in Kansas City. Rone will act as RMA’s primary presence in the South-Central region with Leigh serving as Texas divisional president.
“Our team at Rone Engineering is thrilled to join the RMA family of companies,” said Richard Leigh. “The partnership with RMA will accelerate our growth in the South-Central region and expand our service capabilities, so we can better serve our clients. In addition, joining RMA creates new professional growth opportunities for our team members. This is an exciting next chapter for Rone!”
