The Center for Real Estate Technology & Innovation (CRETI) announced the addition of Ajey Kaushal, a venture capital investor at JLL Spark, to its Venture Board.
Kaushal’s role at JLL Spark, centered on investing in innovative businesses that synergize with JLL’s core operations, showcases his ability to recognize and nurture potential in the proptech sector. His expertise, derived from varied roles in strategy, tech investing, commercial real estate and management consulting, positions him as a crucial player in shaping the future of real estate technology, CRETI said.
“Technology in the built world has revolutionized the way we operate and has opened doors to endless possibilities, transforming traditional, manual processes into efficient, seamless experiences,” Kaushel said. “However, we are still in the early innings of proptech innovation and adoption, and for an industry in immense flux, the need and promise of technology has never been greater.”
Kaushel earned a B.S. in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
