Spiezle Architectural Group Inc. has opened its newest office near the Liberty Bell at 615 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia. It will enhance the firm’s presence in Philadelphia, and surrounding areas, to provide clients with full-scope architectural services. Bob Reid, AIA, LEED AP, principal at the firm, will oversee the new office.
“Opening this new office in Philadelphia further cements our commitment to the Philadelphia region, the community, and our continued Smart Growth plan with this being our sixth office location,” said Thomas S. Perrino, president and CEO at Spiezle. “We’re proud of our growth and we’re excited to continue to provide exceptional services and build solid relationships with our clients as we expand our footprint.”
Reid has been with Spiezle for five years and was recently promoted to principal. He has worked in architecture for over three decades and oversaw a Center City architecture office prior to joining Spiezle. Reid also plays a large role in the firm’s summer internship program.
“This opportunity to serve a broader array of remarkable clients is inspiring,” said Reid. “Our new office is in an exciting area of the city, and we’re thrilled to be able to contribute to such a vibrant community, both professionally and personally.”
The new office space features 30 total seats, with 26 open workstations for collaboration. The open, colorful and bright work environment stimulates creativity and fosters connections between employee-owners, encouraging interaction and transparency. The space emphasizes natural lighting and all workstations have spectacular views overlooking the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.
