Real estate software solution provider MRI Software announced the next generation of CTM eContracts, MRI’s electronic contract and transaction management solution serving Colorado’s real estate market. The CTM application is undergoing what MRI calls “significant enhancements” to deliver an even more comprehensive, next-generation solution to the market.

As part of its advancement in this space, MRI has welcomed eGent, a Denver-based transaction management software provider, to the MRI family. Launched in 2020 with the goal of making the real estate contracting process straightforward and efficient, eGent has developed a modern, easy-to-use interface that delivers a single, comprehensive view for all transaction stakeholders in a centralized location.

The eGent acquisition will accelerate MRI’s time to market with its next-generation contract solution. Clients can expect to keep the robust functionality to which they’ve become accustomed from the CTM application while enjoying a sleeker, more intuitive user interface, including a “Simple View,” which converts state-approved forms into an easy-to-follow format with line-by-line contract explanations in layperson’s terms, the company said. This, among other product innovations, will allow both agents and consumers to move more quickly and confidently through the transaction lifecycle.

“We’re pleased to announce the expansion of our contract management capabilities and the acquisition of eGent,” said John Ensign, MRI president and executive managing director of North America. “Over the next several months, our teams will work closely together to create a unified, industry-leading solution that leapfrogs anything the market has seen. We believe this will facilitate client-centric, one-of-a-kind transaction experiences and look forward to sharing more later this year.”

As part of the acquisition, eGent Founder and CEO Zach Garfias will join the MRI team and retain a leadership role with the company.

“I began my career as a real estate agent and understand how complex transactions can be for all involved,” said Garfias. “Since the beginning, eGent’s mission has remained the same: to simplify complex real estate processes through innovation. We’re equipping agents with unique tools to deliver a higher quality of service, giving consumers confidence through transparency, and helping managing brokers allocate their time more efficiently. Today, our journey continues, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with MRI to drive our mission forward.”
