Carnegie Acoustic Solutions, a provider of sustainable acoustic design materials, announced the Hyper Stretch collection, four new Xorel Artform products. Xorel Artform’s first launch in three years, these new products are a part of the Hyper Sonic Collection, the first-ever Carnegie Acoustic Solutions launch. The Hyper Stretch collection invites designers to reach beyond the status quo to lavish walls in superior sound design.
The new patent pending Xorel Artform “Hyper Stretch” products include: Drape 3D, a dramatic panel with a single, swooping dimensional element to add large-scale movement to any wall; Slope 3D, a chic tile with an offset dimensional element to add elegant texture to any wall or ceiling; Range 3D, a tile with two offset peaked dimensional elements to create visual flow in any space and Rise 3D, a bold, geometric tile with two crossed-dimensional elements to infuse simplicity and modern asymmetry.
Xorel Artform is crafted utilizing Xorel textiles, the safest, most environmentally responsible textile on the market, the company said. Available in over 350 colors, patterns, and textures, Xorel Artform panels and tiles can also be customized to a designer’s exact specifications.
A woven polyethylene with strength at its core, Xorel achieves high durability and ease of maintenance without added coatings or finishes. 100% Xorel (85% Biobased Xorel) is made from a rapidly renewable sugarcane plant and is 100% PVC-free, finish-free, and PFAS-free. Xorel is also inherently antimicrobial, antibacterial, bleach-cleanable, and can be cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants. Biobased Xorel generates a significantly reduced carbon footprint over fossil-fuel-based products.
“There is constant material and design development in the commercial acoustic space,” says Dana Pucillo, Vice President of Acoustic Solutions at Carnegie. “At Carnegie, innovation, and sustainability are always front of mind for our creative team, and for this collection, a collaboration of Carnegie’s manufacturing and design with both Kirei and Xorel Artform, we are thrilled to deliver the results of these advancements in our processes to the market.
