Shamblen Appointed Director of HR at T&T Construction Management Group Inc.

T&T Construction Management Group Inc., a woman-owned premier concrete specialty contractor, has welcomed Michael Shamblen as the company’s new director of human resources.

Shamblen brings over 26 years of business administration experience, including 17 years in human resources. His previous work in construction and related industries includes roles in decorative concrete, railroad services, electrical, steel fabrication and the aerospace sector, including work for NASA. In addition to his 12 years in HR director roles, Shamblen has experience in sales and marketing.

“Michael’s track record of attracting top industry talent and assembling great teams makes him an ideal fit for T&T Construction Management Group Inc.,” said Chief Executive Officer Rebecca Thomas. “As we continue to grow, having a proven HR leader to guide these efforts is critical.”

Shamblen is a member of national organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management and is also active in the Association for Talent Development, in the Orlando and Brevard County branches. Additionally, he is an active member of the Space Coast HR Association, in the North Brevard County branch. He served as a founding member and Chairman of the HR Roundtable Program, promoting best practices in human resources.

His volunteer work includes fundraising and event support for Paradox Sports, where he served as a belay operator and photographer/videographer. He coaches youth soccer teams for the Mountain Top Soccer Association.

Shamblen earned his bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University and his MBA from Morehead State University in Kentucky. His certifications include Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute, a master’s Certification in HR management from Villanova University and Senior Certified Professional (SCP-SHRM) from the Society for Human Resource Management.
