Paul Barrett have joined the firm’s Hudson brokerage.
Jones is an accomplished business professional, with more than 25 years’ experience focused on building and maintaining strategic partnerships, sales, marketing, and advertising. She is the President of the Hudson Development Corporation focused on growing economic and employment opportunities in Hudson. She is co-founder and President Emerita of The Hudson Literacy Fund in its eleventh year which provides books and scholarships for Hudson Public School Students. Jones participated in the Hudson Farmers Market for ten years and is co-founder of the Hudson Indoor Farmers Market. She serves as a Trustee of The Olana Partnership. She and her husband Bert Goldfinger owned the Red Barn restaurant in Ghent for 14 years, one of the first farm-to-table restaurants in Columbia County. She has owned a farm in Ghent for 24 years and she and her husband have made it their full-time residence since 2012.
Barrett has 25-years corporate brand building and marketing communications experience with such companies as American Home Foods, Georgia Pacific and Unilever. Within his role as Corporate Communications Manager with Bertolli, he served as Chairman of the Culinary Trust, a global, not-for-profit foundation providing scholarships and food writer travel grants to a worldwide organization of food professionals. Being a Tourism Ambassador of the County for 13-years as a B&B owner in Hudson only honed his knowledge and familiarity he already had of the area. He currently serves as President of the Board of Hudson Hall at the Historic Hudson Opera House, Secretary for The Hudson Development Corporation and as Historian on the Historic Preservation Commission for the City of Hudson. He is a recognized writer and researcher of lost architecture of the Hudson Valley. He has published articles and is often invited to do speaking engagements on the subject. He entered the real estate world in 2014 and is a resident of Hudson, NY.
