Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP announced that Shannon L. Drake has joined the firm’s Atlanta office as a partner in the healthcare and real estate practice groups.

Welch. “He has extensive experience that will greatly enhance our ability to serve clients in these areas, and he will be a wonderful addition to our Atlanta office.”
As former chief legal officer and corporate secretary at Aveanna Health, a national provider of nurse staffing and durable medical equipment services, Drake has an extensive transactional background in both real estate and corporate matters in the long-term care context, as well as home health and hospice settings. He has managed major litigation, labor and employment legal analysis, government investigations and outside counsel, and has negotiated, drafted and completed many multimillion-dollar acquisitions and divestitures of home health, hospice, therapy and private duty business lines.
Drake received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and a B.A. in economics from the University of Georgia. Following law school, Mr. Drake was a Military Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps.
