Simone Development Companies has signed a new, long-term lease for 6,854 square feet with sneaker and streetwear retailer Snipes at the Throggs Neck Shopping Center at 815 Hutchinson River Parkway in the Ferry Point section of the Bronx, New York.
Simone Development was represented by in-house leasing and legal teams alongside the property’s exclusive broker, Karnit Mosberg of Royal Properties. Ryan Condren of JLL represented the tenant.
“Snipes, with 750 locations across the U.S. and in Europe, is a welcome addition to this thriving retail development,” said Josh Gopan, vice president of leasing for Simone Development Companies. “The Throggs Neck Shopping Center offers an easy one-stop shopping experience and continues to be a sought-after location for top national, regional and local retailers.”
Other tenants at the 300,000-square-foot center include T.J. Maxx, Target, Petco, Skechers and Mattress Firm. The center also includes multiple popular eateries such as Applebee’s, Chipotle, Cap’t Loui Seafood Boil, Five Guys, Charleys Philly Steaks, Starbucks and Sarku Japan.
