Karen Krauskopf has joined global architecture and design firm Perkins&Will as a principal and director of operations in its Austin studio.
In her new role, Krauskopf will help shape the studio’s culture and uphold its commitment to design excellence. Her expertise will support the studio’s financial and operational efficiency, while also promoting its growth across market sectors.

With nearly 20 years of architectural experience, Krauskopf has a proven track record of creating transformative spaces for a range of clients across market sectors, while also spearheading strategic business and professional development initiatives. After earning her master of architecture from the University of Houston, Krauskopf worked as a project architect, project manager and as a studio director, leading diverse teams on complex projects.
In her previous roles, she spearheaded the delivery of corporate campuses, cultural projects, and mixed-use developments, including both new construction and adaptive reuse. At Perkins&Will, she will bring her innovative approach to everything from urban architecture to elevating the Perkins&Will brand in Austin.
