AMS Acquisitions announced the completion and official opening of Sylvan Woods at Howell, located at 6461 Route 9 in Howell Township in New Jersey. The 14-acre site features a 116,800 sq. foot 55+ residential rental community composed of four buildings with a total of 100 units, a clubhouse and outdoor patio and pool. Monthly rents in the four-story buildings range from $2,300 to $3,600. Construction, which started last spring, took about 18 months to complete. “We are excited to begin leasing,” said AMS Co-Head of Acquisitions Ari Mitnick. “This community will serve a huge need for downsizers in Howell Township and greater Monmouth County.”
The property provides residents with access to dynamic retail shopping, goods and services. The units, a mix of one and two bedrooms, feature 9 ft. ceilings, oversized windows, walk-in closets, central air, spacious kitchens with high-end finishes and appliances. Community amenities include a great room with community kitchen and bar seating, workout gym, movement studio, and tenant lounge. Outdoor amenities include a pool, lounge area, and patio with fireplace and barbeque area.
AMS, which purchased the Howell site from OneKey LLC in mid 2022, has been actively expanding its suburban multifamily development platform in New Jersey, Westchester and Connecticut.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Dec. 13th at the Howell complex with company and local dignitaries attending.
