Sky Zone, the originator of the trampoline park will open its newest location in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. The 38,000-square-foot park at 1419 North Kingsbury St. is the company’s 262nd location nationwide, its 10th in the Chicago area and the first to showcase the company’s updated logo and brand identity.
This location will feature Sky Zone attractions including the Zip Line, iWall, Launch Slide, Freestyle Jump, Boulder Balls, Ultimate Dodgeball, Battle Beam, Warrior Course and Race Slide. Families with younger children will also find a dedicated Soft Play space. The park will offer memberships for local families as well as birthday party packages and single-visit jump tickets.
Sky Zone’s Lincoln Park location is the first park to feature many of the brand’s exciting additions as it adopts a new logo and brand identity to better reflect its growing audience of millennial parents, who now represent the core customer demographic. Originally designed for adults, teens, and tweens 20 years ago, Sky Zone has seen a shift toward a younger guest base, with families seeking an active, screen-free environment where kids 12 and under can play, grow and engage.
Informed by feedback from over 6,000 customers and competitive research, the new logo and brand identity will focus on modernizing Sky Zone’s look and feel to create a livelier, more dynamic atmosphere. In the next two years, Sky Zone will refresh all its parks nationwide as it continues to open new locations, including Frisco, Texas, this spring.
“We’re thrilled to bring Sky Zone’s upgraded experience to Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood,” said Shawn Hassel, CEO of Sky Zone. “This new location offers an energetic, modern space for families to play, stay active and make lasting memories together. We’re proud to offer a screen-free alternative that gives kids the chance to develop physically and socially while having fun.”
Sky Zone plans to double its locations to 500 within the next two to three years.
