JCJ Architecture, a Hartford, Conn-based, nationally ranked planning, architecture and interior design firm, announced a series of promotions, recognizing individuals for their extraordinary commitment to design innovation, technical excellence and client service.

Stevens, LEED AP, president of JCJ Architecture. “Each of these individuals has demonstrated leadership qualities and has proven themselves to be tenacious design practitioners and dedicated project collaborators. We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to their contributions to the ongoing advancement of our design practice.”
Promoted to principal, lead interior design was Emily Czarnecki, NCIDQ. With 27 years of industry experience, Czarnecki has dedicated her career to designing for K12 and higher education, recreation and civic and community projects. She has spoken at regional and national education conferences on the evolution of flexible and agile spaces.
Promoted to associate principal were Christine Faverio, RA; Fawn Walton Pellegrini, RA, LEED AP and Varnell Alexander Smith.
Faverio, senior project designer, studio, has a 35-year career in global and national markets on working ranging from branded hotels and waterfront resorts to luxury residential, multi-family towers and destination casinos. Pellegrini, senior project manager, studio leader, has focused on public sector work, including K12 and higher education, civic, public safety, recreation and historic preservation. The expertise of Smith, senior project manager, has spans hospitality, mixed-use, education, multi-family housing, senior living and projects for Tribal Nations.
Promoted to senior associate were Carrie-Ann Nielsen, NCIDQ; Lisa St. Amand, AIA and Brian Stone, RA, LEED AP. Promoted to associate were Tyler Barile; Jessica Barrow, NCIDQ; David Clutter; Jill Leske, AIA, LEED GA; Jennifer Krein and Christine Leary, AIA.
