Muss Development LLC announced that it has completed two non-profit organization leases totaling nearly 37,000 square feet at its 60 Bay St. property in the heart of Staten Island’s St. George neighborhood.
The Legal Aid Society signed a long-term renewal and expansion, occupying 29,467 square feet total on the second, third and eighth floors. Bill Bergman of Muss Development, represented ownership in the transaction. Christopher Mansfield, Craig Reicher, Greg Maurer-Hollaender and Julia Passantem of CBRE, represented the tenant.
In addition, the Center for Family Representation — which has multiple locations and is adding a new office to provide services in Staten Island — signed a long-term, 6,156-square-foot lease on the first floor. Bergman represented ownership in the transaction while Jonathan Fein and Mitzi Flexer of Cushman and Wakefield represented the tenant.
The 10-story, 114,590-square-foot 60 Bay is located across from the Staten Island Ferry. Recent capital improvements to the property include upgraded restrooms and common area with a large parking garage.
