SGA, a provider of architecture, interior design, planning and virtual design and construction (VDC) services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Reza Rahimpour, AIA, LEED AP, as Principal. With two decades of architectural experience shaped by New York City’s dynamic urban fabric, Rahimpour will lead the firm’s New York Architectural Department. His expertise spans the multifamily, commercial, and adaptive reuse sectors, with a portfolio that includes some of the region’s most complex and iconic architectural commissions.
In his new role, Rahimpour will play a central role in guiding design strategy, strengthening client relationships, mentoring teams across the firm and ensuring clarity to developers and project teams from concept to completion.

Before joining SGA, Rahimpour served as a principal at Perkins Eastman, S9 and OBMI. He has played a pivotal role in various projects, including the high-end 77 Charlton residences for Toll Brothers in Manhattan, the Vantage residential tower in Jersey City, the adaptive reuse of Brooklyn’s Empire Stores for Madison Equities, and the next-generation office building Dock 72 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. A strong advocate for digital transformation in architecture, Rahimpour co-founded the BIM team at Perkins Eastman’s Studio 9. A registered architect in the state of New York, Rahimpour earned a master’s in architecture from the University of Tehran.
