Currently celebrating its 50th year, real estate law firm Rosenberg & Estis P.C has promoted 12 attorneys.

Brett B. Theis has been promoted to equity member. Theis has spent almost his entire career at Rosenberg & Estis, building a substantial practice at the firm. He is a seasoned commercial litigator and advisor, focusing his practice on the representation of New York property owners and developers in all facets of their real estate matters. Theis leads a specialized group of attorneys in R&E’s award-winning Litigation Department.
Promoted to member were:
Brendan J. Derr, who joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2018 and is an experienced litigator whose practice includes representing clients in disputes related to real estate, construction, and complex commercial/business matters in both state and federal courts.
Nicholas DiLorenzo, who joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2020 and works within the firm’s Tax Incentives & Affordable Housing Department, focusing on real estate development with a specialization in tax incentives, affordable housing and development bonuses.
David A. Fries, who joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2014. His areas of practice include commercial real estate and financing transactions, mezzanine finance, joint ventures and partnerships.
Benjamin Z. Koblentz, who joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2017 and works within the firm’s Litigation Department, advising clients and litigating complex commercial, governmental, constitutional and regulatory matters in both state and federal courts.
Moshe B. Nachum, who Nacum joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2020 and works within the firm’s Litigation Department, representing commercial and residential landlords and developers as well as management companies, brokers and co-op/condo boards across a wide range of real estate matters.
Elizabeth M. Owen, who joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2018 and works within the firm’s Litigation Department, representing commercial and residential real estate owners and developers in complex litigation matters before civil, state and federal courts.
Justin S. Weitzman, who joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2020 and works within the firm’s Litigation Department, representing entities and individuals in complex real estate cases ranging from commercial litigation to real estate litigation.
Promoted from associate to counsel were Ariel S. Bresky, Zina S. Lyakhovetsky, Laura A. Raheb and Corey S. Rashkover.
