Aspegren Joins Teknion as Chief Creative Officer

Teknion, a provider of workplace furniture and design, has named Magnus Aspegren as chief creative officer. Aspegren will also join the company’s Executive Committee and report directly to President and CEO David Feldberg. He will be based in Toronto at Teknion’s headquarters.

Originally from Sweden, Aspegren brings over two decades of global experience in design and innovation. He has led transformative initiatives across North America, Europe and Asia in a career that spans sectors including architecture, consumer products, hospitality, textiles and furniture.

Before joining Teknion, Aspegren served as chief innovation officer at Stokke, where he developed the company’s global product strategy, founded an innovation hub in Amsterdam and launched internationally successful collaborations. Prior to Stokke, he spent over a decade at BMW Group, leading design programs for BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce across studios in Los Angeles, Singapore and Shanghai, while working with global partners such as Embraer, Singapore Airlines, Lenovo and Samsung. Previously, Magnus held senior roles at Bang & Olufsen, Marriott International, Teague, AaBe Textiles, and completed award-winning design work at NBBJ Architects.
