GoFormz, a digital forms and workflow automation solution, announced a new integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud, a construction management solution that connects workflows, teams and data across every stage of a project, from design and planning through building and operations. The new integration is designed to transform the way construction firms manage field data and project documentation.
Project teams can synchronize construction documentation between GoFormz and Autodesk Build or Autodesk Docs, empowering construction professionals to simplify field data collection via cloud-based project management and digital documentation.
“Construction teams are under constant pressure to increase efficiency and reduce manual workflows. Our integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud allows teams to automatically sync field data between project documentation and Autodesk objects, eliminating redundancies and enabling faster, more accurate decision-making,” said Rob Brewster, CEO of GoFormz. “We’re thrilled to integrate with Autodesk Construction Cloud to further connect the jobsite and the back office.”
With GoFormz, teams can complete forms and capture data, including work orders, safety checklists and more, directly on their mobile devices, even while offline. Once submitted, completed forms and data are instantly routed from GoFormz to Autodesk Build Files as PDFs. Project stakeholders can also create new Autodesk Build Issues directly from completed GoFormz forms. Data can also flow in the opposite direction, with project information from Autodesk automatically populating GoFormz forms dispatched to field teams, ensuring accuracy and accelerating field workflows.
“Connecting field and office personnel is crucial to the success of increasingly complicated construction projects,” said James Cook, director of industry and technology partnerships at Autodesk. “Integrating inspection reports and other data collected in GoFormz with Autodesk Construction Cloud centralizes this information and makes it readily available to teams in the field, trailer and office, leading to faster decision-making and improved project outcomes.”
