AmTrustRE has signed more than 40,000 square feet across buildings in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
At 360 Lexington Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, AmTrustRE secured a 15,214-square-foot lease with Citymeals on Wheels, a nonprofit providing meals and connection to older New Yorkers in need. The organization will occupy the entire ninth floor of the 24-story development just steps from Grand Central and is relocating from a nearby Midtown location.
AmTrustRE’s Samuel Salberg and JLL’s Mitchell Konsker, Barbara Winter and Thomas Swartz represented the landlord in the transaction. Cushman & Wakefield’s Steven Soutendijk represented the tenant.
At 203 Jay Street – AmTrust’s Class-A mixed-use tower at the nexus of DUMBO, Downtown Brooklyn and Brooklyn Heights – the company signed more than 25,000 square feet of office and retail leases, accelerating the property toward full occupancy. Didi’s Pizza and Wine Bar and Bond St. Coffee and Good will occupy the ground-level retail spaces, complementing the recent signing of innovation-driven office tenant, SmartSign, this summer, and community-oriented tenants like Elevate Point and Lindamood-Bell Learning Centers late last year.
