Interior design firm Ware Malcomb announced that Bill Sotomayor has been promoted to Vice President, based in the firm’s New York office. In his new role, Sotomayor will focus on building global and national relationships and accounts.
He will continue to support Ware Malcomb with expanding its national presence and working closely with companywide leaders to advance opportunities in all service sectors.
“Bill has remained instrumental to the impressive growth of our New York office and our overall presence in the Northeast. We are looking forward to seeing him excel in this new, global role,” said Jay Todisco, President, Ware Malcomb. “His decades of industry knowledge and dedication to Ware Malcomb’s vision make him a tremendous asset to our executive leadership team.”
Sotomayor opened the Ware Malcomb New York office as regional director in 2014. He was subsequently promoted to principal in 2021.
Sotomayor holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He is a founding member of the Knights of York, a New York City based nonprofit organization of devoted business leaders helping children in need. Sotomayor is also a past chairman and board member of the National Hispanic Business Group and a member of CoreNet Global.
