JLL Names Caridi as Executive Managing Director, Tri-state

JLL announced that Joseph Caridi has joined the firm as executive managing director for the Tri-state region. Caridi will be based in JLL’s New York office and report to Michael Colacino, president, Tri-state brokerage. In his new role, he will oversee markets including New York City, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut/Westchester.

Caridi brings over three decades of commercial real estate leadership experience, with most of his career focused on the Tri-state region. He joins JLL from Cushman & Wakefield, where he most recently served as Managing Principal for South Florida, leading a team of more than 450 professionals across four major markets.

Caridi’s distinguished career includes numerous executive roles leading and growing brokerage businesses. He previously served as chief operating officer for the Tri-state region at Colliers International, where he managed all day-to-day operations and directed core business functions. Earlier, as an executive director at Newmark Knight Frank, he managed the firm’s New Jersey brokerage operation before being promoted to oversee brokerage and advisory services for the entire Tri-State Region. At Reckson Associates Realty Corporation, he completed over 900 transactions totaling more than 10 million square feet.

Caridi earned his Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law at Queens College and a bachelor of science in business administration from the New York Institute of Technology. He is a licensed real estate broker in New York, Connecticut,and Florida.
